Evelyn has a doctorate in education.  She's taught at the elementary, middle school, high school, college, and graduate school levels.  Most recently she's taught kindergarten/1st grade because that's her favorite age.  In addition to her books, Evelyn has had over 100 acceptances from children's magazines such as Highlights for Children, Ladybug, Hopscotch, Fandangle, and Faces.
