We invite parents, teachers, and writers to send us their school visit reactions: what did you do during your visit, what was the students reactions, and anything else you'd like for us to publish. All school news are welcome, especially from teachers who would like to share what the students thought after an author visit.

Just send Lea Schizas an email with SCHOOL VISIT on the subject heading. If you have any jpegs to go with your author visit, please mention it in your email and wait until I request for the pictures to be send.

"I'm not a very good writer, but I'm an excellent rewriter."

Linda Barnett-Johnson - LSS School of Writing
Hi Lea,

You have been busy. I wrote a children's story and read it in front of my grandson's class in third grade. The teacher was impressed with it. She took a few pictures and sent them to me. I even drew the character that I was reading about. It was an amalgamation of several animals. It turned out cute, even though I am not an animator. Your site was a good idea.
